Reality In Exile is built for rooms that want familiar guitar-driven rock, strong lead vocals, and the feel of a band that came up through real bar gigs. The group originally played the St. Louis and Metro East circuit from 1995 to 1998 and is now preparing to return with Nick Burchett, Bob Welsh, Paul Gibson, and Mickey Munoz.
The band is currently focused on St. Louis-centered booking, with Kansas, Indiana, Ohio, and nearby Midwest dates possible when routing makes sense.

The band covers songs from the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s, with guitars, bass, drums, keyboards, and multiple vocalists allowing a broad bar-rock set. The material is being rebuilt for the reunion lineup, so exact set length and song list can be confirmed during booking.

The Band
Bob Welsh
Guitar and vocals. Bob Welsh has been playing guitar for almost 50 years with background in blues, rock, country, and even Americana. He has released four albums of original material.
Paul Gibson
Bass and vocals. Known for his solid bass lines, vocals and harmonies, Paul has been a staple in the Midwest music scene, performing with many bands across the St. Louis and Kansas City region over the years.
Mickey Munoz
Drums and vocals. Mickey is a well-known drummer with over 50 years of experience in the KC, Lawrence, and Topeka music scenes. His impeccable timing and infectious energy make him one of the region's most respected musicians.

St. Louis History
Reality In Exile formed in the St. Louis area and performed from 1995 to 1998 at venues including Schmeizing's on Hampton Avenue, 66 West in Pacific, Red's Again in St. Charles, The Last Stop in St Peters, Rascals in Valley Park, multiple venues in the Metro East and regular appearances at the Amazon Lounge on Christy Boulevard in South St. Louis.
The original lineup was Nick Burchett, Bob Welsh, Paul Gibson, and Greg Lawrence. The current reunion lineup brings back Nick, Bob, and Paul, with Mickey Munoz joining on drums.
